Put a bet on two horses - Ballabriggs and Treacle. Treacle fell at the first fence.
Oh well, I'll have a go again next year. Wish they would do away with the fences though.

The winner, paying £130 on the Tote for each pound bet,proved the efficacy of the new FredPuli system. Established over the three days of the meeting, but only discovered by day two, it was to bet on any runner that had a French name. This was refined by trial and error to "a French name that made sense in English". Of course,though the deviser of this infallible system,I came a cropper by picking Cappa Bleu , forgetting the second part in favour of what Timeform thought. LOL
