Horrible day here, cold, wet and windy doesn't describe it. Some good racing but not a lot for the small time punter to take part in with the small fields and pinched odds, consequently I have had to cast the net wide. Good luck if you have a go. England/Wales match should warm us up later.
My net has also been cast wide, Togo. Needs must. Have had a nice e.w. punt on my first selection and am hoping to shoot the bookies down today - i'll get my coat:-)
Win singles and the usual; 4 placed = £55, 4 lovely winners = £2 shy of 5K.
Also done a little robin on 3 horses who are aiming to win their races for the 2nd year running; My Target, Transient Bay and Templehills. A successful bet will get me approx £170.
The 2 winners and non-runner returned £34 from the lucky 15 bet, the win singles returned £92.50, the 10/1 in the robin doubled my stake money, returning £20. Oh yeah, and the £25 e.w. on Kalashnikov returned £425. See, i do get it right sometimes:-) Your turn next week, Togo.
Well done Ken.....Missed your post last night watching the rugger etc. and this morning got a message from my son who has been travelling. Could I pick him up from Manchester airport. With a couple of hours notice have been and done that so have been off grid for the day. As you say....my half term report says must do better and you have passed the half term test. :))
