Morning Weecalf. Just had a look and note that it has been backed down from 10/1 to 6/1, so someone has got the money down...……............unless it was your bet. (^_*)

I have been told to get on Mubtasim in the 1.40 @ York by one of my brothers. Interesting. Donachie O' Brien riding for Willie Haggas. That has to be a first.
Question Author
Make that the 1.40 @ Newmarket.
I have been told to get on Mubtasim in the 1.40 @ newmarket
can you do the weight togo lol
Question Author
Never mind the weight Volts, I couldn't do the distance anymore. :))
lol :-)
Tilting at windmills again, today. Feel like Donkey OT:-/ Sticking with the stats which means, like you Togo, i have to overlook one or two favourite horses. Tough game this betting malarkey.

1.40 N'm; Spanish City @ 8/1
2.15 N'm; Sands Of Mali @ 15/2
3.20 N'm; Clubbable @ 11/1
3.40 York; Another Touch @ 14/1

Win/e.w. singles, 20p lucky 15, 50p e.w. acca. 4 places = approx £40, 4 winners = £10,876.

Also had a slightly heavier bet than usual (but not a max) on Stone Of Destiny @ 4/1. Brilliant run lto and a repeat of that must surely see him go close in the 1.55 York.

Best of luck, all.
Think I'll be following weecalf's tips in future lads! ;0))))
One of the weirdest races i have watched in a long, long time. One by one they pulled up or fell, leaving just Lord Topper and Linguine. And, once LT took the lead, Linguine's rider, Kay Lions, just concentrated on putting in a clear round, going down by an ever increasing 16l. As i say, quite weird.
Obviously I didn't see the race Ken so can't comment; perhaps weecalf's a soothsayer as well and just saw this happening in his premonition. ;))))
Question Author
Haha. Shot Weecalf. Hope you got the 10s. Never saw a minute of any of the racing in the end. Family arrived, out of the blue, and we had a scoop or two and a lasagne out the back in the blazing sunshine. Proper replete and ready for bed. Happy day, laughed till it hurts.
He must have some connection to the animal, Captain. I wouldn't have backed it with stolen money. No recent form whatsoever and just 7 runners, so it had to be in the first 2.
Question Author
Haha Ken. After Weecalf posted earlier I had a look at it, then looked at the betting and wondered who is backing that down, and why. Perhaps Weecalf can share his inside knowledge again in future. I also realise(I do so hope I am not mistaken here) that Weecalf is not as lucky as some of us with good vision. So to post is not as straight forward an undertaking as it is for us.
PS Think that's Woodelf, Togo (I may be wrong though).
Question Author
As I said Capito..... I hope I am not mistaken. Think you are correct here. Sorry Weecalf. You have x ray specs instead.
