Too much to do and so little time - my lot kick off at 1230 (hoping for a score draw @ 7/1) - hence the early post (without waiting for the n/rs).

2 x 20p lucky 15, £1 e.w. accas today;

11.50 Hay; Cornerstone Lad @ 9/2
12.00 Lin; Sandfrankskipgo @ 6/1
12.40 Asc; Ballyart @ 15/2
1.20 New; Newberry New @ 13/2

4 placed = £24, 4 winners = £3,318

1.35 Hay; Ubaltique @ 9/2
1.20 Asc; Magic Saint @ 4/1
2.25 Asc; Sam Spinner @ 11/2
2.40 Hay; Kimberlite Candy @ 9/2

4 placed = £19, 4 winners = £1,382

Good luck.

Morning Ken. I was just about to repeat last weeks cross post but had a quick look first. I got sorted early as well to clear the decks, so to speak, for a busy afternoon. Stayed with the Ascot card for the selections following. Good Luck.

Almost Gold @3/1 12.40
Janika @5/2 1.50
Call Me Lord @7/2 2.25
Thomas Patrick @5/1 3.00
Jolly's Cracked It @15/2 3.35

£1.00 5timer. 5 X 4folds, 10 trebles, 10 doubles all at 30p.

Morning,Togo. Just been looking at the stats for the 3.35 Ascot and notice that light weights are prominent in recent years. One horse that i have seen tipped to run well (from 3 different sources) is Lord Napier. Currently @ 40/1 with 365, they go 33/1 for the extra place. However, Willy Hill are offering a 1/5 the odds for 1st to 7th and their price is 28/1. So, i've had £2.50 e.w. with them. If it wins, the difference is about £20, but if it runs into a place, the difference is minimal. Placed = £16.50, win = £89.
It looks a cracking race regardless Ken.(pun intended). I have never been afraid of picking a horse at the top of the handicap, especially so if they have earned it, I just see it as a sign that they have ability. My choice may just be something special looking at it's last run. But I know what you say about being wary of a "springer" or one lurking at the bottom of a good handicap race being liable to show remarkable improvement when the prize money is right. That's why we love it . :))
A brother just txted his choices...…….Lord Napier in the 3.35. !!

Am i correct in my assumption that your brother is the 'gifted one' in your family when it comes to picking the winners? :-))
Haha Ken.....it's certainly not me today.....had a mare. Have to do a cheeky double on the last 2 runners.

Started off well but downhill from thereon in:-( Lord Napier finished 6th, though, so i have a little recompense :-)
Drew a blank here Ken......but "the team" won.
Probably pop up again on Boxing Day, the King George looks like a good race. I have a sneaky feeling for one there, but will wait and see whether it is still going. Hope that you and yours have a good Christmas if I miss you on other threads.

Same to you and yours, Togo. And having a punt is what Boxing Day was invented for. Isn't it? :-)
