Here we are again, the best NH meeting in the World bar non. Awful weather will not spoil the spectacle, a tough lot these NH lads and lassies. I have done the Placepot and Jackpot and put the first 4 runners in a little bet of their own. Will see how it pans out and whether I need to do a cover later. Have had a single bet in the 2.10 to qualify for the free bet in the 3.30.

Patsy, i spend literally hours studying stats and form figures but the best ever return i got from Cheltenham was a few years back on a 'coincidence' bet. My eyes had just lit upon a racehorse's name (think it was Bishop something or vice versa)when whoever was on the radio at that name actually said the word 'Bishop'. So, i looked through the ABC guide and found 3 others (all with holy connections) and put them in a 50p Lucky 15. Two of them won at fantastic prices (think my other winner was something Cross or vice versa - other 2 are still running, i think) and i collected almost £600. Never won that much by studying :-) :-/

Was going to be a whitewash until most of the pub lumped on Early Doors in the last so rather than being odd man out I had £25 on it which was very nice.

Just clearing my emails and found one offering me, among other stuff, 7 free bets on the Gold Cup 2019. The email was dated Fri 15 Mar and timed at 23:53! Think it's a scam and if it is, it's got to be the most useless spam ever. :-) :-)
