Cover can be taken if it goes pear shaped early doors. Probably do singles on a couple of them using my free bet offer from 365.

Interesting.....One of my brothers has just pointed out to me that Flaming Spear, (Newbury 3.35) is usually ridden by Rob Winston for Ivory. Winston has gone up to Ripon to ride Lancelot Du Lac in the 3.15. It is the only ride he has there. Hmmm I have a horse in both races

You just beat me to it, Togo. Had i not commented on fatgaz's pool question, we would most likely have had 2 threads going.
Don't know whether i'm getting picky in my old age but i'm not too enamoured by today's offering - even the powers that be have chosen a class 4 race in the ITV7 over a class 2 race (though i suppose that's down to the number of runners). Anyhow, i've managed to wade through the chaff (not much wheat around) and have come up with a very tentative selection;

Well done Togo. Only just found it that i also had it. Could have gone to Ripon today but declined - didn't really know how the weather would turn out. Son went so i gave him enough to cover all races, doubling his bets (just as we did when we visited Chester recently). He put a fiver e.w. on both Growl (won) and (unfortunately influenced by a conversation i had with him this morning) Lucky Lucky Man (5th). He has just called to say he put our £20 on Euro Implosion in the last so he's calling with my winnings when he gets back to town - could be late as i think they're pub crawling their way back:-/ As for myself, i did absolutely zilch - nothing on the nags and nothing on the football. though i do have evening bets on both, so my luck could turn.

All's well that ends well Ken. 2 of my brothers are spittin feathers. They both, like us, watch out for their "old friends" in the returns category and despite putting Growl into their punts 3 or 4 time this year ignored it today. Whereas I have ignored it all year …….until today. See you Wednesday if not before. Haha let's hope your son doesn't spend it all in the pub. (^_*)
