Morning Ken. Beautiful one up here now the frost is lifting. Looks like a good day of racing again and the Welsh Nat. is on. Today is usually a big day for Evan Williams the Welsh farmer who trains a few for fun. He loves the Chepstow meet and he was always there on Boxing Day even when he had no runners. Then there is the Welsh Jockey Lorcan Williams who is from down there, he has a couple of rides. To further complicate it The Skeltons look like they could have a payout or 3 at Wincanton. Will get back when I have made my final decisions.

Also done a L15, £1 e.w. acca in which my first horse (Subliminal ridden by Hollie) was beaten by a neck, giving 17lb to the winner - just hate it when that happens:-((. T'other 3 in that bet are; Sizeable Sam, Alminoor & Too Shy Shy.

Sorted I think. Bryony Frost has got away to a flier again. Just her sort of weather then. Did the ITV7 and a 6,& 5 timers to small stakes leaving out the odds on. why the hell the ITV7 is at Lingfield beats me. Leaving out the 2.30 at Chepstow is criminal. *** with You Can Call Me@6/1 in the 2.30Chep. E/W Acca, E/W Trebles, Doubles. May have a look at Wincanton when I get my head back. Good Luck everyone.

Ah well, not so good. Glad I listened to myself and had a couple of quid on Evan Williams to have the winner. Had to laugh when I saw this Ken. Chorley little club from your corner of the World knocked Derby out of the cup and this has a video of the side in the dressing room after ... Singing an Adele song as only a gang of lads can.

I won't laugh too loudly, Togo, 'cos we're losing 1-0 at home to MK Dons at the moment. At least Derby have the excuse of having to field a team of kids.
Regards the nags; a little fact i missed out on when perusing was that Secret Reprieve and The Two Amigos had finished 1-2 lto. So, once i had heard one of the presenters mention this, i risked the rev f/c which returned just under £24. Add that to the £47 i got for my winner and 3 placed runners in Bet 2, and it's not been as big a disaster as it first appeared.
We now have 30 mins to rescue this cup tie :-/
