Valero Open Golf

A week ahead of the 2022 Masters tournament, 21 of those due to take part have their final warm-up preps in the Valero Open Golf, beginning tomorrow. I have forsaken the tournaments favourites and, not really looking for the winner, have gone for 3 outsiders. Basing my bets similar to the way Togo does his rugby bets, i've done them to finish in the top 8 and the top 12. Bets are with W Hill and Sky (who offer 8, 10 and 12 places)

I once a told a work colleague, who was a gambler, to put his money on Mark Calcaveccia for The Open. He did, but he wouldn't tell me how much, but I think the odds for him at the time was 40-1, maybe slightly higher. Sure enough, Calcaveccia won and I just got a 'thank you' from Tony. At least he was grateful. And he lived up your way, Ken, in Bacup.
