Wasn't going to bother with a punt until the 2nd week but have just thrown a fiver at;

Djokoman, Nadal, Medvedev and Alcaraz all to win their next matches by 3-0.

Accumulative odds are 5.27/1 for a poss return of £35.33.

I would love to see Alcaraz in the final against Medvedev.

I hope Alcaraz gets knocked out in the next round - he let the bet down (struggled in a 3-2 win) :-((

Jut the one correct score yesterday - Garin - must have been a rush of blood to the head backing a Brit to win:-( Hopefully do better with these 3.

Auger-Aliassime 3-1 @ 13/5
Isner 3-1 @ 3/1
Zverev 3-1 @ 13/5

£1 Treble, £1 Trixie for a poss return of £150.52.

This is the match-up everyone wanted - Djoko v Rafa. A tad disappointed that Djoko is such a short price (4/9) to beat the Spaniard. Nadal getting his excuses in early; asked if match could be played during the day as he doesn't like Roland Garos at night. Organisers quite rightly refused his request, sticking to the scheduled time. It is said that he isn't quite fit, yet he hadn't dropped a set until his last match against Augur-Aliassime which went the distance.
The Djokoman has yet to lose a set but this will obviously be his toughest challenge to date. Despite Nadal leading the 'slam' h2h 10-7 (7-2 in this comp) I have faith in the Serb stretching his overall advantage over him to 31-28.

£5 Djoko to win 3-1 @ 3/1.
Have to jump to the defence of my hero so Ha Rafa won and they both thought the timing was unacceptable. Why should not wanting to play top flight tennis at 1 in the morning be considered an excuse?

Go Rafa!
^ strewth, i struggle to get out of bed at 1 am :-)
Question Author
Rafa obviously thought that being 13 times French Open champion enabled him to dictate the scheduling. Obviously not. Djoko's capitulation in that 4th set when 5-2 up was such that if i hadn't seen it with my own eyes, i wouldn't have believed it. Only a fool would bet against Nadal adding a 14th title to his CV.
Regards the timing of the event, both players proved that playing top-flight tennis 'after dark' is entirely possible - given the right players, of course.
Go Djoko! (Thmerr thmerr):-)
sadly the mouth watering semi against his young compatriot Alcaraz didn't turn out
