The Derby (1.30) itself kicks off today's ITV7, followed by the next 6 races on the Epsom card.

This will (at the time of writing, of course) be Frankie's last Derby ride on his 'retirement tour' and i don't believe he could have hoped for a better mount on which to try and make it 3 Derby wins to his name.

I've had a fiver on at Willy Hills 'Epic Boost' odds of 6.75/1 for a poss return of £38.75.

And i see that the very shrewd Richard Fahey has booked Oisin Murphy to ride Vintage Clarets in the 3.20, so of course i'll be doing 'something' with it.

Two were left in yesterday's ITV 7 when the seventh race started. Unfortunately for them, they had chosen Caernarfon and Savethelastdance.
Hope Frankie does the business today after his dazzling efforts yesterday.

Afternoon race fans. The Derby looks wide open compared to some years and Frankie is always gonna be popular with the big race punters. Jessica Harrington's runner would be another popular, what with her undergoing treatment for cancer since October. Stoute can never be discounted in this race and Charlie Johnston's runner beat Arrest in the French Criterian. I had a cheeky E/W punt on Caernarfon yesterday as it was running as we made our way home to N.Wales from Devon. Get back with my choices in a little while.
