In a game of snooker, player A pots the brown, blue and pink to go 7 points up against player B. He is then on the black to win the game ,but commits a foul on the black. What happens next ? Does player B continue to play the black with both players having equal points or does he claim the game because of player A's foul on the black ? Or something else. Thank you.

I believe that with the points then even, the black would have to be placed on its spot, the players would toss up, and whoever wins the toss would decide who would go next, although you would be allowed to place the cue ball anywhere within the D to take the shot. Whoever then pots the black is the winner, or if a foul is THEN committed, the opponent would win.
