Yesterday was a great day

Yesterday was a great day for me. Got up early & drove my husband to Trent Bridge for the start of the Notts Outlaws v Warks Bears Twenty20 game. It was an excellent game which Notts eventually won. Then called in at The Gap Inn Carvery on the way home for a belated Sunday lunch at a bargain price.

Got home in time to watch the second innings in the England v Australia One-Day Cricket International on TV from Old Trafford. It was nail-biting towards the end but England came through.

Then watched Northants Steelbacks beat Durham Dynamos again in an excellent cricket match (I had been at the game on Saturday but had recorded it from SKY on TV) before going to bed.

Not a football in sight all day. Brilliant!
