Rugby players bawdy behaviour when socialising

Has anyone else noticed when rugby players are socialising with eachother in large groups they always seem to feel the urge to expose themselves or touch and grab eachothers private parts. Why is this?

i have never seen that, not once, been to plenty of rugby matches. They like a drink though, but for the most part its good natured joshing. Unlike the boors who go to footie matches, many just want to get so p........and cause a fight.

The only reason that spectators don't fight at rugby is there isn't enough of them

no worse that the vile chants at the football, many directed at black players. Still goes on, no matter what some people say. There was a news item on few moments ago, and though i didn't catch much of it, it was to do with sectarian violence in football. Those caught could face jail terms of up to five years.

bit of a generalisation there em10, in britain, racial abuse at football matches has pretty much disappeared, anyone caught shouting anything like that is kicked out. With 30 odd thousand people at a football match, you're going to get the odd racist but it's certainly not a mass problem.
The sectarian violence is between Rangers and Celtic and has been going on for years, you can thank religion for that, not football!

well I don't know what games you're going to but that's the case with any I've been to, and given the furore over the treatment of black English players at games in Italy, Macedonia and some Eastern European countries it's certainly not accepted by anyone here.
It's still a big problem in Spain and in Italy, one of the reasons Mario Ballotelli came to Britain was to get away from the racial abuse that was rife in Serie A.

When I fisrt moved down the south coast I spent a couple of summers working in a hotel in Bournemouth, One weekend we had a rugby club on tour (I think it was Exeter) and a hen party, and guess who caused the most problems and were told to rein in there behaviour and to calm things down? yep thats right the hen party!

when i played rugby never seen that happen.. maybe it is just an englandshire thing

sectarianism can sometimes be much worse at a hearts v hibs match than celtic v huns match

I can't agree with the OP - a bit of joshing, but I've never seen flashing or groping at the Rugby Club.

not an isolated incident, the clubs are trying to stamp this out, but it still goes on

Ive played for decades and been on countless Tour's and rugby bashes but I've never seen any of that dave. Have you witnessed this personally? OK they do get a bit rowdy and can play bar games but I've never seen anything like you describe.

I played rugby and agree that after match drinking was a serious social business, but I never witnessed any flashing or groping.
