Golly, isn't Kate just totally jolly.

I saw the pictures in today's paper from Wimbledon.

She looks like SO MUCH fun !!!

I wonder if she's up for hen nights? (actually, I'd bet she IS !!!)

Well, I think our future Queen is totally fab.

Oh, sorry ... the Sports Section!! ... yes ...

The Williams sisters are both out ... so we might see some real tennis this week.

Yaay !!!

do the williams sisters not play " real tennis " ?
Question Author
Yes, I'm watching the tennis on the telly.
I'm pretty sure there is no "real tennis" at Wimbledon, it's all lawn tennis.

anne ...

They play "power" tennis.

The men's game was spoiled by big serve and volleyers.

Big hit.

Big hit.

Big hit, game point.

Big hit ... the end.

You didn't get to see any actual tennis.

The Williams sisters did the same to the Women's game.

In a 2 hour game of tennis involving Serena Williams, the ball can be in play for less than 15 minutes. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Oh, chuck ... well done you !!

A very good (and technically correct) point.

So where would you go to see "real tennis" ?

(apart from Hampton Court, obviously)
I have no idea.. the rules of real tennis always seems stupidly complicated! I'm sure oxbridge have real tennis courts, as do a couple more of the more traditional universities in the country.

A lot of schools have Rackets Courts ... which is a bit similar.
