Name of child's vintage card game
I have a pack of 40 playing cards (without box or rules) from my childhood (late 40s) & wonder if anyone can tell me the name of the game.
There are 4 picture cards each with a clown on & their names - Bimpo, Mutt, Clown & Gamp. The other 36 cards make up bigger pictures of these clown - 9 for each figure.
I vaguely remember the idea is to have one of the picture & then collect all 9 pics of your clown through a process of picking up an unseen card from a central pile or one from the discarded pile & then discarding one each time.
I would be grateful for any help in naming the game or further information.
