So Plymouth are in danger of liquidation.

Which is horrid.

The Brighton "word on the street" is that we are going to buy every empty seat at their stadium, go down to their stadium in our thousands, totally pack them out and, for one day, make it the LOUDEST, fullest, stadium in the country.

We are going to take rattles, horns, vuvuzelas, whistles ... anything that is legally allowed in the ground.

It will be LOUD, LOUD LOUD ... !!!

The date ... Saturday 24th September (because The Seagulls don't have a game that day).

I'm tempted to go (even though I've not been to any matches this season), because it's going to be A TOTAL BLAST !!!

And maybe, in the process, we might make a small contribution to helping save Plymouth.

How jolly is that !

As Paul Whitehouse says in the Aviva advert ... "GREEN ARMY!"

Well, apparently the Leeds game thing is that ... it's going to be on SKY.

So everyone should try to watch Brighton v Leeds on Friday 23 September, on SKY ...

... because ...

(1) You will see our gorgeous new stadium ... Yay.

(2) The Brighton fans will be wearing green, instead of blue and white - to show SKY that real football fans are standing up for Plymouth.
Jayne, if yer going to plymouth you might as well come to Bristol this weekend.

How many away fans do you bring on average?

I'm not sure, because I'm not much of an away follower.

Funnily enough, the last time I went to an away game was to Bristol ...

That was two seasons ago, near the end of the season, when we were facing relegation to League Two, and I thought we needed all the support we could get.

We avoided relegation by a single goal in the last few minutes of the last game of the season ... "phew" !!!
I think that was when you played the other lot.. the gas.

I've only just got over you beating us in the play off final at the millenium a few seasons ago. We were absolutely dreadful that day.

So is there a Bristol / Bristol rivalry ?

x
Yes, during the 70's and 80's it got really out of hand.

City and Rovers havent played in the same division for over 10 years, so the rivalry has waned a bit.

This season is the first season in both clubs history that there has been 2 clear divisions between them.

Mark
The Club are really struggling at the moment JJ, no one is receiving their wages in full including Peter Reid the Manager.
They need all the help they can get so well done the Brighton Fans !!
