K.O. at 8.30 a.m. tomorrow.

For some inexplicable reason I am going to predict a French win. My rationale is that yes, France have been nothing better than mediocre thus far so are due a blinder, plus the added incentive of beating Les Rosbifs will make them play with added abandon and Gallic flair. England have not responded well under pressure thus far (agreed the beat Scotland but weren't pressed as such) and may crumble if France gain an early lead.

England going out hurts England.

Why would Wales going through hurt England?

=0)
HW ...

Victoria Pendleton is English.
WQho was talking about Hoy? Mark Cavendish and Bradly Wiggins are English...
jj - she's not as fast as Hoy.
HW ...

Pound for pound, she's probably faster !
I'm only messing JJ but I have a few English friends that will be devastated that Wales got through and England didn't as apparently Wales are crap ;) x
Well, Wales ARE crap, and England are brave and heroic.

Usually.

I was actually thinking of Bradley Wiggins and Mark Cavendish but he's a Manxman so I don't suppose he counts then.
jj - lol - you're probably right.

If we're crap we're not as crap as England because unless I'm very much mistaken we've made the semi final and England haven't!

The post mortem in the press will be brutal. England's off field activities will doubtless come back to haunt them on the back pages. I am surprised Johnno let them get away with as much as they did and IMHO they were lacking a captain of stature on AND off the field.
