The answer, presumably, is (Andrew) Lemoncello, but the clue makes no sense.

...unless it's actually "left monocle out" of course.

"The" in french is LE
left is abbreviated to L
"out monocle" means anagram of L and MONOCLE
So LE + anagram of L and MONOCLE = LEMONCELLO
