Marericks Whupp Lightning

Tonight's Netball.

Mavericks have whupped Loughborough Lightning 55-39.

Not a big surprise, because Mavericks are SO on form at the mo. They have this goal shooter called Louisa Brownfield, and she is AWESOME. She's SO reliable. Tonight, she had fifteen shots on the basket, and netted all fifteen of them. And they've got a really strong player called Sasha Corbin, who's just moved to Mavericks from Team Bath. And they had England international Karen Atkinson playing tonight. All in all, you would not want to bet against Mavericks just now.

Am I rambling? Sorry.

Anyway, Lightning have been having a bad run. They haven't won for a few games now. And ... their next game is against "my" team ... Surrey Storm.

So, Mavericks are going from strength to strength, Lightning are in the doldrums. Worth bearing in mind in any of your local bookies will do a bit of research and take a bet on the Netball.

It was a shame Northumbria got beat again on the road.

They had a good result the other week against the Celtic dragons but they have struggled since then.
