Sadly for the Whippets, it is the Celtic Dragons who have qualified for the forst round of the SuperLeague play offs.
It's not certain who they will play, but I think realistically it's going to be Team Bath.
A couple of seasons ago, Team Bath were really strong. At the moment, I'd fancy Dragons to beat them.
However, if they get to the play offs, Dragons will come up against Northern Thunder and Surrey Storm. On this season's form, Thunder and Storm will both whupp the Dragons' butts.
So, watch this space (or don't ... I don't mind) ... I'm not sure how the play offs draw will work out but, at some stage, I think the SuperLeague season's climax is going to involve an almighty showdown between Northern Thunder and Surrey Storm.
If you've completely ignored me, and not watched any games all season ... you really should watch that one !!
