Paul Lambert, of Norwich, is my guess. Has a reputation as a miracle worker after his stints at Colchester and there. Or do you think Villa will go for someone with greater experience at the top level? Who?
Why choose Villa ? Much bigger club, long history, better money, Lambert must like a challenge, it would be step up for him, getting free of his contract won't cost Villa much.... Old Villa fans must be used to all this. There was a time, after all, when Villa was seen as the yo-yo club!
Mr Lerner appears financially sound and took over a club which wasn't achieving much. Norwich weren't exactly flying or loaded with money when Lambert took over. That's why I think he'd take it if offered; the owner might like him because he can make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. And the team wasn't relegated, so he'll not have a mass exodus of his best players on that account.
