So... the Netball "Europe" Open Championships consisted of England playing Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, and now England is "European" champion? Is this sport played anywhere outside the UK?

Well, in fairness to me (always the most important criterion), I did have to read all the way down to the bottom of the article to discover this, so I am demonstrating a willingness to learn, right? But.. Jamaica, South Africa... still not getting a "European" vibe.

As for the World Series, they started calling it that when no one else was playing the game, so I think for historical reasons the name is grandfathered in. Still, baseball is not much of a sport - I mean, it's not even in the Olympics, unlike netball. Oh, wait.......... (I'll get my coat now...)
