Impossible to compare the two. I laugh out loud when the commentator at a football match says "I wonder if so-and-so will make the 90 minutes? He may have to come off after an hour" Try playing tennis against Roger Federer for five hours.

Tennis is quite mesmerizing.

Football would be much better if they didn't fake their injuries. They get kicked in the shoulder and pretend they've been kicked in the face. It's embarrassing.

They should be made to watch Gaelic football or Hurling, and learn to man up.

You like what you like and that's it.
I don't enjoy watching Rugby or Tennis so don't watch them,however if people enjoy watching those sports good for them!

To answer your question I'd rather see my football club win a trophy than my national team..It's fairly unlikely ever to happen in either case btw.

As for the tennis I hope the Scotsman wins it but I'll be watching the cycling.
