Sport rituals

I'm watching the women's volleyball match between Algeria and Japan ('watching' isn't totally accurate) and after every point members of both teams feel the need to touch hands with all their team-mates whether they've won the point or lost it. It is so irritating. EVERY point. Are there sporting rituals more irritating than this?

p.s. the court cleaners who come on during time-outs are very efficient.
