According to Wikipedia, the stars are purely decorative. They have won three league titles, but the stars were there before that!
They're purely decorative... man city have always thought above their station.
Is it a bit like working at McDonalds?

England shirts have one star above the badge, to denote that we are number one.
Wishful thinking Hopkirk. But not quite true.
Oh, OK.

We won something 46 years ago.
or that England have won 1 world cup Hopkirk?

City have three to avoid the fans having to buy another shirt in 2 years time! lol

I'm a City fan....and lovin it.
It could represent the Magi, the three wise men bringing gifts from the East
It's to show where they are going to finish in the prem this season
More than happy to accept the gifts from the east mick, as any other club would!

Not playing anywhere near as well as last season but still second and unbeaten.

A small wager Elvis that City will finish above 3rd and more likely add another star to the collection?
Ok Tenner say you don't
Ok, "handshake", we'll sort it out in May! Ha lol. Cheers
No probs, if Man City finish top 2 I'll give you a tenner, if they don't you owe me

Bets on
I don't think man c will retain the title, (Every team wants to beat the current Champions they're not familiar with it) but coming second is highly probable so I wouldn't take the bet but do hope you get your tenner in May Elvis.
I hope it's going to your chosen charity
Elvis get thinking which one cause mass (just like city) ain't going to win it ;-))
Man City haven't won anything recently.
They've bought it
