England recently beat Australia 3-0 in the Test series.

The top of the World Rankings was so close that, as a result, the Diamonds have lost their Number 1 World ranking. The Silver Ferns have taken top spot.

So the top of the World rankings is now ...

1. New Zealand

2. Australia

3. England
I used to play goal attack at school. What position did you play?
Question Author
Whooah!

You took me by surprise, Cupid. I don't normally get any posts when I do netball threads, except from ABers telling me that I'm boring them, lol.

I usually played Centre, or sometimes GD or WD because I was quite tall.
i played goal attack too.....loved netball as a teenager x
sister, step niece both GDs just over 6ft, niece plays there as well and she's 5-9 at 15. Other niece is a serious hockey and cricket player - fast bowler at the latter and takes size 9 shoes already!
I loved playing netball and tennis. not fit enough now!
Question Author
The coverage on Sky ths season is really good, lcg.

DT ... sporty family!
at school, i was on the......hockey, tennis, swimming, netball, rugby, cricket, rounders and athletic teams. i played hockey for the town i lived in, the county and the country at under 21 level. and my dad's team if they were short when i went to watch! some very un-gentlemanly behaviour used to occur during those matches.....x
Question Author
All teams should have a 6ft tall GD.
Question Author
Wow, a serious all rounder, lcg!
Question Author
I stuck to netball, lacrosse, and running.
i love sport, jj, although i can't do anything except walk or cycle now due to my disabilities. i honestly think all the wear and tear on my joints is down to all the exercise i used to do! but....i would do anything to get out of sitting in a classroom!!! x
Question Author
Cycling is good. It's low impact.

Except when I came off my mountain bike and my shin had a rather high impact with a pedal, and stripped a huge piece of flesh off the front of my leg.

Off to casualty!
Question Author
Tonight's game is ...

Surrey Storm v Hertfordshire Mavericks

Centre pass is at 7pm.

Annoyingly, I don't think it's being shown live.
I fell off a chopper bike [I bet you're too young to remember them]. I was going too fast down a steep hill and panicked and only squeezed the front brake and went over the top of the handlebars. Luckily I don't remember much as I was unconscious until I reached hospital.
Question Author
Ouch, Cupid!

I'm 46. I know what a Chopper looked like.

:0)
No girls ever fell of my ' Chopper '.
Trust you, Tony. ^^^
lol.
cupid.....i did the same thing! i stole a ride from my older bro's bright orange chopper (not long after learning to ride on his hand-me-down number).....i pointed my self down the hill my parents live on, got up speed and splatted myself all over the road. skin missing off all my right side....i remember my mum picking out bits of gravel and using sodding dettol of all things to clean the wounds!!! anyway....i didn't learn and a couple of years later did exactly the same thing on my rollerskates! x
