Wow! Froome is majestic, down to him and Quintana now for the stage. Kudos to Porte for getting Froome into that position.

Froome has put nearly 90 seconds into Mollema for the GC, Contador some 24 seconds back too. Quintana looks the fresher of the two at the moment though.

What a stage! Not content with yellow and the GC, Froome also gets the polka dot jersey tonight with the 50 points for the stage win.
Barring something drastic, Froome has effectively won the Tour today.

Off to the race on Tuesday, hopefully gonna be more of the same. Rest day tomorrow is crucial, give him time to refresh after today's gargantuan effort.

Good stage win by Froome today, in the right spirit too - he seems to want to win the overall race properly , not by riding conservatively in the mountains and picking up a minute or two here and there in the time trials.

Froome knows his strength is in the climbs. Win or beat his main rivals and then if they pull back a minute or so on the flats it will be too little too late.
