Seems Darren Lehmann has made a bit of an arse of himself and been spouting off again, not for the first time in his illustrious career:

Bit sad really, inciting the crowd to verbally abuse a player and smacks of desperation for the upcoming tour Down Under.

crowds don't need inciting. Look at the booing Warner gets whenever he comes to the crease.

It's a pretty poor state of affairs though when a national team coach encourages verbal attacks, but then he's got experience of doing so himself.

Furthermore, he needs to get his facts straight, Broad didn't nick it to first slip.
He tickled it to the keeper who fluffed it and subsequently deflected it to first slip.
with this series on his sheet Chill, he might as well point at the clouds and shout "oo look, puppies" for distraction

Puppies? Koala's sloopy, surely? LOL
:o)

let's see what the day brings

Indeed. Forecast looks good. I've just finished nights and am off to bed shortly but will awaken to the strains of Aggers and the gang at TMS.
Hopefully they'll have Glenn McGrath in for the last Test, thoroughly enjoyed his summary and assessment when in the TMS box.
mutters, bloody Boycott...
Frankly, I would sooner see a player, when he knows he's hit a ball, walk, but I seem to remember that it's not only England players that wait for the umpire's decision, haven't the Aussies waited too?
Yes and theyve done enough cheating in the past, claiming catches when theyve clearly gone to ground, what about the incident when New Zealand wanted a 6 off the last ball to win,an underarm delivery was bowled rolling on the floor.Lehman engage the brain before putting mouth in gear.

England drop Bairstow? hmmm

Well bad luck Bairstow, although he was one of those inevitably in some danger for his position, hadn't really earned the right to keep it with some disappointing scores. Prior scoring less heavily still but has the past history to back him up, so was always less likely to be dropped.

Hope Bairstow can fight his way back into the team, in the long one he's likely to be Prior's successor.
England opening bowlers, pitching the ball up on a goodish length.
Good start for England.
15-1

50 up for the Rogers Watson partnership - Rogers wicket would be handy
Watson more key at this point I'd say as he's the one scoring...
The two newbies are being slaughtered! 28 from Kerrigan's two overs, 30 from Woake's five, and Australia reach 103-1 with another 15 minutes to go until lunch.
Watson's certainly got Kerrigan on the backfoot
