George best the rest played football
never heard of John Charles, then again I don't do Football.
Sir Stanley didn't play for a club abroad.
I'd say John Charles, he's the only one I've never heard of.
John Charles is one of the greatest players to come from these shores. He was welsh and regarded as one of juventus' legends.
Denis Law - the only one of those whose initials are in alphabetical order
All were included in World Cup squads apart from George Best?
Matthews in 1950 and 1954 for England
Denis Law for Scotland 1974
John Charles in 1954 for Wales
Greaves for England in 1966
-- answer removed --
Stanley Matthews I think, all the others have played for foreign clubs where as Stan didn't.
