Why No Net Cord Judge Any More?

Watching the Australian Open yesterday I noticed there wasn't a net cord judge. When did that stop and why? It seems net calls are solely the umpire's responsibility and there is no electronic involvement.

There is an attachment on the net which beeps at the umpire if the ball touches the net during a service.............

The service let should be abolished. Play doesn't stop because the ball hits the top of the net at any other time in a rally, and the speeds of services means that it's about 50/50 as to who benefits when it happens with a serve, so just get rid of it.

Cannot agree with your suggestion, bibblebub. A net cord service benefits the server probably more than 90% of the time (just count them up in a top level match). The server already has a considerable advantage (especially in the men's game) and any more would be unjust.
