Great match for neutrals, though my Scouse mate has been bending my virtual ear on Twitter about how badly done by the Pool were. Didn't appreciate my telling him that their captain was lucky to be still on the pitch at the final whistle... ;-)

Great game. Relieved to go through. Webb made two howlers. The 2nd penalty and Gerrard not sent off. Two decisions both made based on reputation.
