Shame that, Lendl obviously got him to go that extra step and become the player he has.
The next one has got a tough act to follow.

it's also "Lendl splits with Murray" - they're both saying it was mutual, so it's not like Ivan's been dumped. But yes, they made a great pairing, and Murray will be lucky to find a replacement as good.

It has been, to say the least, a tough season so far for Murray, and indeed since the victory at Wimbledon he's looked flat outside the Davis Cup matches. I hope that this will change -- perhaps a new coach and new direction will help?

From the sounds of things this was as much about Lendl rediscovering a love of playing the sport as anything else.
