Well, some great answers..........???
No but A couple of months ago Billie Jean King, "who won 39 Grand Slam titles and was the driving force behind the formation of the WTA Tour, says modern players are making a "big mistake" by not employing more female coaches."

Andy Murray has taken up the challenge...
\\\\"big mistake" by not employing more female coaches." \\\

I wonder why?
They won tell dirty jokes.
~~wont tell~~
I'm just confused why her being a woman has anything to do with anything, Sqad. Let her coaching and its result on Murray's performances do the talking. Here's hoping it'll be useful.

Depends on the reasons for not employing women as coaches. If you're just going to say "oh she's a woman so I won't appoint her" then you've automatically excluded 50% of the candidates for no good reason. Which is just bizarre. If later on in the process of choosing a coach it turns out that the women have less to bring that's fair enough, but there shouldn't be a problem with appointing a female coach if she's the best person for the job. On balance, I'd expect Andy Murray to be a rather better judge of this than most.
think some people respond better to men and some to women - after all Andy's mum has been very and successful in forging his career.
I'm quite surprised by the appointment. Loved to watch Amelie when she was playing, but emotionally I thought her quite fragile........
To some extent I suppose it depends on what a coach is supposed to bring. I'd guess it's more mental strength than physical tactics. I can't imagine, Sharapova being able to add any physical improvements to a man's game were she a coach.
