On the ranking list he is now down to no.12. That is a big drop. He was No.4 not that long ago.

Remember how Andre Agassi's rating plummeted? Good players don't become bad overnight. If he escapes long term injury he will be back. As one famous person said 'form is temporary, class is permanent'...

He can watch his mum on Strictly.
Now he can coach his Mum and watch her doing the HighLand Fling!
Or he can fight his way back up the rankings....
Ooh look a flying pig!

Well, at least someone seems to know who you're talking about!
He can just play in Scotland, that should get his ranking back up.
Bit harsh....he took a long time out with a big injury, takes time to get back to it properly

He's a spent force IMO.
I don't remember him being out with a long term injury, not in the last year anyway?
He could go into politics Salmond and Murray make history as the two most dourest politicians ever, haggis sounds tastier!!

ZM, I wouldn't write him off just yet

Caribeing, a little bit of haggis is ok, try it.

Slappy, I'm sure he will find his way back, after all, he's one of the 'big four'

Prudie, he had an op on his back after winning Wimbledon last year

Baldric, you must watch more tennis, will shout you when he's playing

AG, agree. BA for you.
Fingers crossed that he has a better season, signs of recovery were there at Wimbledon to some extent and the US Open more recently. I think he'll climb back up the rankings next season.
Thanks Butterbun! 'Ace'! ;-)
I'm just guessing but I suspect his popularity ranking has plummeted even further
oi...lay off my boy ! lol.. he will be back..
I'm sure he'll be back. I was glad to see he said he would still compete for GB in the Davis Cup even if Scotland left us. That was one of my concerns about the referendum. :)
The abuse he got on Twitter recently was appalling. What kind of person says something like that?
He got abuse from Liam Gallagher.
'Sportsman abused by mouth breathing, unwashed cretin'

Nothing new there really.

Andy Murray will regain his form soon if he wants it enough. The rest of us can bash away at our keyboards giving expert opinion on elite athletes regimes.
Was Liam Gallagher the one who called him an effing c@!/ and wished he'd been killed in the Dunblane shooting? Or is that another idiot, for want of a better word?
