I'll watch pretty much anything, not football as much these days as I used to though.
Whilst nowhere near being classed a petrolhead I like F1, watch/play golf, love rugby union(I'm a rugby referee too), like American Football, enjoy the big meetings/Olympics for track and field and am an avid fan of cycling, cricket and enjoy tennis, except on clay!
Pretty much an all-round sports fan!
I watch tennis but do walking, running, circuit training several times a week. Wish I could swim but can't so I'm pretty useless in the water. I'm ok in a puddle but that's the extent of my immersion !
Played and coached Ice hockey at every level in the Uk... retired now though.
Otherwise cycling now but have been doing so my whole life for fun and for Cardio training while playing hockey.
NOTHING beats the buzz of two wheels, also ride a bit of motorcycle trials and enduro actually only never tried speedway, road racing and motocross were not for me. Used to play rubgy, both codes, bit of squash and even tried rallying in the distant past.
I'll watch anything but football and golf I hate them with a passion, not struck on tennis and I can't call snooker and darts sports.
Bit of running (did a 10 mile road race yesterday), bit of rowing (used to row a lot, now only few times a week), and referee football matches at park level. Used to do a few mountain bike races when I lived in America.
Enjoy watching athletics (seeing how it should be done!) and have a season ticket at Chelsea. Also like watching equestrian sports such as show-jumping and three day eventing.
Bazile, I'm a watcher, rather than a doer these days. Will watch all football (Chelsea and Peterborough my teams), love a visit to The Oval for a day's cricket. Like you, I also enjoy speedway (although Peterborough Panthers have been struggling lately). The crowds they get now are so small ( a couple of hundred or so). When I used to watch Wimbledon Dons back in the 1970s, crowds of 20,000 were not unusual.
I love watching golf and cricket - no desire to play either though.
I occasionally view football - the present Mrs Hughes is a Stoke City fanatic, and will leap around the room shrieking at the top of her voice should we view what I believe is known as a 'scoring opportunity'.
I'm not a sporty-type person at all. I just recently started doing yoga, and that's about all the sport I can handle. Well, maybe watching darts is cool.
