Enjoyable game between England and the All Blacks today spoilt by England 'fans' drowning out the 'Hakka' (spelling no doubt wrong) by singing 'Swing low sweet chariot'.
And rugby union fans would have us believe that football fans are rude and boorish !!

Bill McLaren, brilliant!
I quite enjoy the Hakka.
I agree. He's still the best rugby commentator of all time.

This was rather good:

As was this. Some of the AB's looked a little intimidated themselves as a result of the close proximity, so fair's fair IMHO:

Thanks DTC, really enjoyed that.
Of course all rugby fans and players are wonderful, polite and gather in pubs to sing delightful songs that encourage chivalry and respect for women.
Football fans like myself hate the opposite sex (men, boo !), would never vote for anyone of 'ethnic' origin as player of the year, and never have friends who aren't heterosexual (must disown my friends for whom I acted as ring bearer in their civil partnership ceremony).
Generalisations, who needs them?
I must say I find the hostile reaction to the haka laughable. "Declaration of war", "intimidation" ??
If you're going to look at it along those lines, why not just have the haka by New Zealand, a bit of Morris dancing by England, and stop there, before the REAL threats and intimidation (i.e. 80 minutes of actual full contact rugby involving up to 40 or 50 beefy blokes).
I totally, totally love the Haka thing.

It's really jolly.

DT's clip of the Welsh team standing and facing up to the NZ team was brilliant.

You couldn't imagine an All Blacks game without a Haka.
