What's all this about Federer pulling out of tonight's tennis final because of injury? I was looking forward to watching this!

Yes he's just pulled out. but instead of cancelling the event an ehibition match is planned this evening between djokovic and murray! Personally I'd want my money back and would not want to sit through this meaningless nonsense instead.

Yawn, hope Murray can do a bit better than the other day. But I won't bother watching this evening.
If he is injured, he's injured. It's a shame though. He wouldn't pull a fast one, given the amount of dosh on the table, never mind the kudos.
boo hiss !
I am sympathic toward federer but wish his place had gone to the losing semi finalist rather than putting on this silly exhibition match.
my dream has come true lets just hope he has to pull out of the davis cup as well and he can crawl back under his stone never to be seen again
Er... why exactly? What stone should he return to and why was he there in the first place?

Apart from being a superb tennis player Roger Federer is an excellent sport (I cannot recall ever seeing him cut up rough on the tennis court); he is polite and gracious when defeated; he has a fine family and really seems an all round good egg.

Just what do you have against him. Or is it simplky that he's successful, hard working and is worth a few bob?
He's Swiss, his timing is precision.

Agree with NJ, he's a great pro on and off the court.
Cheers, corylus. :-)
