Arsenal are 8/15 favourites to win the cup. That 8/15 stake though, has me puzzled. Does it mean a £15.00 bet would win you £8.00 in the event of an Arsenal victory (after 90 minutes)? If this is the case, you WOULD get your £15.00 stake back too, wouldn't you? Otherwise, there wouldn't be much point

I think there are different odds offered for a team to win in 90 minutes play and to win however long it takes. Extra time, for example.

You mention it in your post, but you do need to check whether you are backing Arsenal to win the cup, or Arsenal to win after 90 minutes. Be sure you chose the one you want.

sorry aelmpvw, my fault - I always bet on a scoreline for individual matches and simply didn't think of 3-1 as the odds just for a win

Sanchez to be named MOTM @ 6/1 (Willy Hill) is where my ill-gotten gains have gone. Also, if he lines up, Giroud FGS @ 5/1 (again WH) doesn't look too bad as he has scored 7 and assisted in 4 of his 13 FA Cup matches and has found the net in each of his last 3 v Villa.

Giroud not lining up so i will have a dabble on Walcott FGS @ 15/2 with Paddy Power - he will be full of confidence after his hat-trick in the last match.

Also having a sensible stake on the 'Gunners' to win 2-0 @ 13/2 - Coral.
