Two sets to love down & being comprehensively outplayed
by Djokovic.

What did we expect - Djokovic is on a 27 match winning streak.

Yep. I would have thought that Djokovic could rightly feel a bit hard done-by if he was beaten this time too -- undone in the final set by an opponent he should have been able to outlast if the match had been played yesterday only. In the end the fifth set was not very close this time either but at least Murray avoided the bagel, and for that matter to force a fifth set...

Just another senior moment Retro.:-)

Looks like the Best Man won!
Certainly does. :-)

In the end the fifth set was not very close this time either but at least Murray avoided the bagel, and for that matter to force a fifth set is something. He's done better than I was expecting against an opponent whose performances on this surface have been exceptional, second only to the now-dethroned King of Clay Nadal.

I think it bodes well for future clashes in the grass-court and hard-court tournaments coming up. Murray didn't wilt mentally this time, just lost a bit of intensity for a couple of games and that was all Djokovic needed.
Sniff Cheating Novak has beaten Andy! But Andy won the mexican wave ;)

As i said earlier, no disgrace losing to Djokovic and the utmost respect to Murray for taking it to 5 sets. Djoko now 1/6 to beat Warinka in final - not much of a betting proposition:-(
It was a bit of a shame from the spectator's viewpoint that Murray, Nadal and Djokovic were all in the same half of the draw.
I'll have a punt on Stan winning....he beat both Djokovic and Nadal when he won the Australian Open last year.
^^^

But was beaten by Djokovic in the semi-final of the same tournament this year. Djokovic leads 17-3 on head 2 head meetings with Warinka (5-1 on clay) and 2 of those Warinka victories came way back on 2006 in their first (Dlokvic retired) and third meetings. I'd want a better price than the 11/2 available on a Warinka win, craft, but if you do decide to have a punt, best of luck m8.
Cheats never prosper! Novak lost the French Open to Stan Wawrinka. Well done Stan ;)
Amazing match. well done to Stan (who was particularly cute in his pink PJ bottoms) but I feel sorry for Novak. Don't think of him as a cheat at all.
How tall is the ex champion?!
Who is it Jo, I didn't catch the name and don't recognise him.
I don't either ...but I think this is him

Says he's 6'3" in your link.
Wow,looks like him and I've never heard of him. Thanks.
Thanks Ken :)
He was around in the late 90s and early 0s, Prudie and won the French title 3 times. Far better on clay/hard courts though he did reach the quarters at Wimbledon in '99. Beset by injuries and missed many tournaments because of this. Retired in 2008.
Told you :-)
Still wouldn't have taken the 11/2, craft, absolutely no value. In fact, you would've got a better price going for the 3-1. Still, well done if you had a bet and spend your winnings wisely - don't go paying any bills with it.
