as I have been having problems with my current glasses. They had a deal, two pairs for £85....now, choosing one pair was problematic, choosing two pairs was way too much for me. Decisions, decisions!

I've gone for brown and blue, plastic, with no nose pad thingies. I hope they'll be ok.

Do you have problems with choosing glasses?

I prefer tankards with nice comfy handles.
I got the tortoiseshell ones like that Tilly as I keep losing them wee nose bits..takes me ages to choose too..far too big a choice !

I suppose I should have said 'spectacles', smarty pants!

Hello. Nice to see you back, I think.
Nope, I only need glasses for reading (so far!) so choose the cheapest on offer. My current pair from Specsavers were £20.00 and then I got a spare pair from Poundland!

If/when I get to the stage where I need gegs constantly, then I'll put thought into them and how I look in 'em.

Choosing sunglasses is far easier, for some reason, don't you think?

How did you loose the nose thingies, Minty?
My choice is very limited given the strength of my prescription, but I do know what you mean Tilly.
mine are only readers..I go for the 2 pairs for 69 pounds...one pair stays upstairs by the bed..the other downstairs by my armchair ...

Mine are reading glasses, Boo, but I seem to wear them an awful lot. I am always reading something.
dunno Tllly they just drop off !
Does your husband wear specs, tilly ;-)
Am absolutely hopeless at choosing frames. Hate the decorative bits they put on the nowadays.
I only wear mine for reading in bed. Ideally I should wear them for work as reading scratchcard numbers and sometimes barcode numbers is a trial, but I'm far too vain!
I tend to put them on the end of my nose and peer over them all the time..treat them like bifocals. I did have them danglng on a chain but kept catching them and pulling off the legs !
Not a nice thing to do with spiders minty
I did attempt doing that MM, but as I wear my hair in a bun for work Mr Boo said I looked like some kinda bonkers librarian- so that put paid to that!
oo noo..I catch spiders and liberate them outdoors...

shoota you have grown a beard !
Hi Tilly, I absolutely love choosing new specs! I'm due some in October ... I'm thinking of trying their ultra flex this time.
I had the same problem with BOGOF frames - in the end I got two identical pairs.

I always go for a spare pair ever since I once sat on my only pair in the car - and I need them for driving. I finished the journey with them elastoplasted to my forehead - fortunately had some in my Car First Aid Kit - about the first time I had ever used it !

Mrs Boo Doubtfire !..

He only wears his sunglasses when he looks at me, otherwise he'd be dazzled by my splendor, Melv.
