Idiotic move by a club that is a permanent spiral of decline it would seem.
Rodgers was never up to it, and should have been sacked ages ago.
Doing it a handful of games into the season is daft. I can't see what it will achieve. The squad is plainly not good enough and that can't seriously change until next year.

I think it was the season before last when they nearly won the league (with help of Suarez) but at the time everyone thought Rodgers was a wonderful young manager. I assume they have someone better lined up- Klopp or Ancellotti
