Cricket World T20 - India Fiddling Again.

So ... after doctoring the pitches in the first two matches (which came badly unstuck against New Zealand), the Indian administrators move on to working out how to disadvantage even the minnows Bangla Desh.
The solution is simple ... despite much of the tournament being played in Northern India (which would be good for BD in terms of their supporters being able to get to the match) they have scheduled this match for Bengaluru (Bangalore in old money). This is deep in Southern India - 7,000 km from Dhaka - a seven hour flight.
There are a few hardy souls from BD there - but barely enough to raise a second team, let alone a crowd. The noise from the Indian crowd is not so much a 12th man as a complete extra team - the umpires are already under some serious pressure.
I love Indian Cricket - they are consummate entertainers - but I really, really hope they get stuffed in this tournament ... what they have done so far is not actually cheating, but it's pretty damn near and against any concept of 'the spirit of the game'.
