Happy Saturday from a cold, wet, grey Middlesbrough. Two of us are up here to watch our beloved Seagulls get promoted. Well, actually there are 2,500 of us up here, coz our full ticket allocation has sold out. But you know
We have to win. A draw gets Boro promoted, and leaves us in the play offs. But we are confident.
After a heavy night "on the town" in Middlesbrough last night (ending up at The Dickens Inn, and then some club type of place near the hotel) (groan, pass the headache tablets!), my pal and I are feeling fragile. We are recovering with a couple of bloody marys. Then we are joining the glorious blue and white tide, heading to the Riverside. Although we are playing in yellow today, because the last time we won a final game of the season to get promoted was 37 years ago, against Newcastle ... and we played in yellow.
So love to all on AB, have a fab and jolly day, and we will see you in the Prem.
Hope so, for big Godon (Greer's) sake.
Isn't it always cold, wet and gray in Middlesborough, as I seem to recall from my days in Co. Durham?
Lucky you, Gordon's first club (and mine) is up at Elgin for a play-off semi final.
Talk about brainless,Stephens equalises and minutes later gets sent off in a huge match. What was he thinking? Dunk got sent off v Derby so he was suspended for today. What are Brighton playing at??
