A friend of mine asked me to book a Friday ticket for him but its fully sold out other than the VIP paddock club - I guess people want to see the Mercedes bounce off each other. Best to avoid the area they are anticipating 100,000 plus. Anybody from here going.

How many of the so called VIP's are true F1 fans and there to actually watch the race , rather than just to be seen ?

Most major sporting events have that problem, bazille. There's a lot of money to be made selling tickets to the corporate companies.
