What Does It Say On The Team Gb Tracksuit Tops?

It looks like the Team GB tracksuit tops are emblazoned with G (over the athlete's right breast) L (over the left breast) and B (over the bottom right of the rib cage).

What does the "L" stand for, please?

I don't think it's an 'L' just part of the quartering of the design.

The top right and and the bottom left hand are the two rampant lions on the overall design.

I've looked at some more pics and the lions look like they're standing in an "L" and a reversed "L", but I don't think it's meant they're meant to be "Ls" at all.
