Who won??????
It has been a great and hardworking year for Andy, so well done to him.
Tilly. Have a look at the posts just prior to yours .?
I can look now, fantastic result, I'm banned from looking at sporting events where I have an interest, they always lose, however far ahead they are! Probably been said elsewhere but also well done to Jamie and his partner, World No 1 doubles. Like her or not, Judy must be so proud of her boys.
Both parents must be so proud of their boys :-)
Well done Andy Murray, a worthy No1 and again some wonderful tennis. I cant help but reflect that, since the intense scrutiny of athletes in all fields, that Djorkovic has not performed at his previous almost unbelievable levels. I also recall that there were veiled accusations, two years ago, questioning the rapid improvement, and rise, in his fitness levels and physique. Murray deserves this, I for one, salute him.
Well recalled Togo
Great performance - and an exhibition of sportsmanship from Djokovic we could all learn from, too
Thoroughly enjoyed the match - Andy looked tired in the first set but true grit won through in the end and he was a very worthy winner. Well done and terrific news for tennis GB
Meant to add - Djorkovic was a true sportsman in the end.
Excellent result
Well done Andy!
A bit late to the party but I got to watch this match, and I was pleasantly surprised by the result and then some! Murray in total control, Djokovic barely in the match for large parts, and somehow Murray is year-end #1 for the first time.
Quote from New Judge in 2010.

"Even Murray himself is now doubting that he will win a Slam. I identified him about three or four years ago as what my mother would call a “sickly child”. He is prone to minor ailments which give him “off days” and he does not seem able to work through them. Further, he cannot, it seems, go a fortnight without suffering from one of those afflictions.

I have a sizeable wager with one of my pals, placed two years ago, that he will not win a Slam event before the Olympics start in 2012. (In fact, I believe he will never win one, but we had to make a cut off point for the sake of the wager).

He has seven more chances, but I think my money is safe.

Where are you tonight New Judge??
Great result ....Andy may have his flaws ( very slight ) but at times I've doubted Novak's sportsmanship and that gets him no where in my estimation ....Well done No 1 Andy
