Ipswich Town are just using a crafty tactic of leaving their challenge for promotion to the very last minute, so that other teams in the play-offs will get complacent about playing them ;-)

(Actually I'd like to see Sheffield Wednesday get promoted, as I know a young fan of theirs who'd be overjoyed).

I'm reminded of a local league game I was refereeing many years ago. One of the players turned to me and said "Did tha' dad give thee that badge, ref? 'Cos tha' certainly did'n gerrit any other way!". I immediately grabbed hold of his hand and shook it vigorously, must to his amazement. "Thank you so much", I said, "In over ten years of refereeing you're the first player ever to think that I actually knew my father!" ;-)
