How come there is an open topped bus resplendent with Town colours and life size images of all the players ready to do a celebratory tour of Huddersfield later this afternoon and evening?

They beat Reading in the Championship play-off to win promotion to the Premier League next season. (They won 4-3 on penalties btw.)

Who organised it, no idea.

There's probably also one hidden away in a garage in Reading that is being resprayed back to its normal colour now

No spraying necessary. Buses and trains are now usually livered or decorated using printed vinyl wraps. These could be printed some time in advance and applied quickly.
