But anyway, the point is that I think I *only* saw Queen's and Wimbledon, and was maybe vaguely aware that the French and US Open were a thing. But I think there was a time briefly when I thought that the players must spend the entire year practising for Wimbledon!
Nowadays I'm more au fait with the tennis world, thankfully. Murray's season last year was superb, from about Madrid onwards. Final, Won, Final, Won, Final, Won the Olympics, Quarters at the US Open, then something like four or five tournaments in a row. Wonderful.

I know what you mean :) Wimbledon was a sacred two weeks for Mum throughout me growing up, still is for her. I can't remember other tournaments back then. I fell out of it after leaving home through studying (often no TV) and working mad hours. I the got back in to watching the Wimbledon finals and, more recently, with working very different hours, as much of the tournament as I can watch. I don't catch much of other ones. I'm not keen on watching matches on clay either.
