Oh dear, not much of a fight so far. Might be a quick one this!

Poor Magdalena. She looks very nervous. I hope this isn't a routing.
I didn't realise she is 28 and has been around for years. I'd never heard of her before this tournament.

She really doesn't look comfortable. I hope she can pick things up in the second set as I don't think there is any coming back in this one.

I hadn't heard of her either. Poor thing, she does seem really out of her depth in this game so far.

As i explained in my post, Wimbledon - Ladies semi final, earlier in the day, she took 7 months out recovering from surgery to both her wrist and leg. She returned in Feb at 200, slipped to 453 by March but has since improved leaps and bounds to world ranked 87 with by far her best game coming on grass. She put out the number 3 seed last week and i had backed her to win this 2-1:-( She is certainly not playing as well as in the earlier rounds and perhaps the occasion - rather than the opponent - has got to her?

She has done really well up to this game. Just such a shame to see her struggle so much in this one. Murguruza was my favourite to go through to the final but I had hoped that it would be more of a fight.

Oh dear, unfortunate for Rybarikova to lose to such a degree. Well done to Murguruza!

Looks like my bet was the kiss of death - as it has been all week. Worst Wimbledon for quite some time as far as my wallet is concerned. Warning!! I've also backed Jo Konta to win next:-//
